Glacier Park Lodge is located on the eastern gateway of Glacier National Park. Glacier Park Lodge and Resort is a rustic western theme lodge that was built along the main line of the Burlington Northern Railroad. The highlight of Glacier Park Lodge are the Huge Douglas fir pillars that are over 40 feet high and 40 inches in diameter that form the supports in the distinguished lobby. Glacier Park Lodge offers a heated outdoor swimming pool, nine-hole golf course and close proximity to the park. The rooms are located on the second and third floors of the original main lodge. In the Great Northern Wing which connects to the main lodge, rooms are located on all four floors. Accommodations come with queen, double and/or twin beds, private bathrooms, direct-dial telephones. Family rooms have multiple beds. Bell service is available. Access to all rooms is via stairway only. |

Many Glacier Hotel is located along the shores of Swiftcurrent Lake inside the park. The hotel was built in 1915 to accommodate the many tourists passing through Glacier National Park. Many Glacier Hotel is built in the Swiss Chalet style and the Swiss theme is carried through the interior of the hotel as well. The hotel offers world famous scenery, with panoramic views of nearby Grinnell Point and Mt. Henkel. Both of these spots are some of the park's best locations for taking pictures at sunrise and spotting mountain goats, big horn sheep, and bears. Standard guest rooms at the Many Glacier Hotel are equipped double and twin beds, and in-room bathrooms. All rooms and facilities are non-smoking. A cozy sitting area in the lobby makes the perfect setting for fireside socializing, reading and writing postcards. |
